What is the Japan FinTech Festival?

The Japan FinTech Festival convenes Japanese and global communities to engage, connect and collaborate on technology-led innovation in financial services. It is a platform for policymakers, technologists, business leaders and investors to participate in dialogues on the future growth of financial services.  

When does the Japan FinTech Festival take place?

The Japan FinTech Festival takes place from Monday 3 March – Friday 7 March 2025. 

Where will the Japan FinTech Festival be held?

The Festival will take place in Tokyo. Details of the 2025 venue will be shared soon. 

Is there a dress code?

The dress code for the event is Business Casual.

What are the ticket types available?

We will shortly be launching registration for the Japan FinTech Festival 2025, in the meantime, please-register your interest here and we will notify you when we go live. 

Does the ticket price include tax?

No it does not. 10% consumption tax will be applied when purchasing your ticket.  

What is included in the ticket?

We will launching registration very soon and will be sharing full details of all pass entitlements. 

Can I buy a ticket on-site at the event?

Yes, you may walk-in to purchase the ticket onsite via our website registration which will remain open for the duration of the event. Spaces are limited, so we would recommend securing your ticket to avoid disappointment. Tickets availability is subjected to capacity cap.

I won’t be able to the attend the event in person, can I participate virtually?

This event is in-person only but some session recordings will be released on the Elevandi website post-event. 

Will any of the sessions be translated into Japanese?

No, all of the sessions will be delivered in English. 

I am interested in sponsoring the event. How can I find out more?

Unfortunately, sponsorship opportunities have closed for the Japan FinTech Festival 2024, but you can register your interest here for 2025.  

How can I nominate a speaker for the Japan FinTech Festival?

Please complete this form if you’d like to be considered for speaker opportunities at JFF 2025, along with other global initiatives organised by Elevandi.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else if I’m unable to attend?

Ticket transfers are subject to approval. Please reach out to hello@fintechfestival.jp with your request. 

What is the cancellation policy?

A strict no cancellation policy applies. Should you need to send a replacement, please reach out to hello@fintechfestival.jp with your request. 

Can I request for a refund if I cannot make it to the event?

All tickets paid are non-refundable. Please see the cancellation policy above.

I am a member of the press, can I attend, or cover the Japan FinTech Festival?

Yes you can, you will be able to register for a media pass when we launch registration. 

What time does the Japan FinTech Festival start?

Registration opens at 8:00am on Monday 4 March 2024.
Tea and coffee will be served between 8:00am and 9:30am.

The opening session will
commence at 9.30am.
 

What is the Japan FinTech Week?

Organised by the Financial Services Agency, the Japan FinTech Week comprises a number of parallel events; workshops, seminars, and networking activities, including the Japan FinTech Festival.  

Does my Japan FinTech Festival pass grant me access to all of the Japan FinTech Week activities?

You will need to register for certain events and purchase tickets for others. You can find out about the other events through the Japan FinTech Week website.
